For those of you who went to the NC game last year...what did you pay per ticket? I couldnt go last year but I dont care if I have to refinance my house to go this year. Just want to know what I should look at spending just on tickets.
TIA

It seemed everyone in PHX who wanted a ticket, had a ticket.
Tickets were for sale at hundreds of dollars under face value

I paid $550 - but I agree with the previous posts - about 2 hours before the game people we selling bellow face value - it's a patience game. Knowing what I know now - I'd go for the tailgate and wait just as the national anthem and get a ticket for about $100 or so... Good luck.

That might work this year - but venue is a huge difference

If it's Clemson - Bama again, I'd expect tickets to be a lot more expensive since Tampa is within driving distance for most fans of both schools.

No doubt. Last year, the cost was in the travel not ticket.

Ticket prices dropped dramatically 2-3 days before the game. You could get upper deck for $250 easily.

We paid 250$ each for 2 tickets a week before the game.

But there were cheap tickets easily available on game day. Unfortunately, I don't expect that to be the case this year though...

there will be 3xs as many people wanting to attend this game in Tampa at any cost vs seats available if it's bama vs CU(same for OSU but we wouldn't care then) Prices will be through the roof. Travel costs prevented the bulk of the bama and clemson fanbases from entertaining the idea of attending. Not the case in Tampa. If you have the option of getting tix within a couple hundred of face and they are tix you want, you better get them. Driving down there and not getting them will happen this year to people who don't have the resources to spend whatever it takes.

There may be a few tickets for way under face value but it's highly unlikely, at least until halftime of the game if people still have tickets. With the venue being closer for both fan bases, I could see it being anywhere from $300-$600 due to good ol fashioned supply and demand.

Different scenario this year being in Tampa

WAY closer to southeast teams . This year face value is $650 for Club, $650 for Reserved Sideline & $450 for Reserved 300 Level. Depends on how much of the game you want to miss before the price drops from a seller outside the stadium.
