On the other hand……When slinging trash becomes an Olympic Sport, they have a 50 year head start on the rest of the world. Although I think India might pose a real challenge.

It's been a long time since we have been behind South Carolina in any recruiting rankings, regardless of how early it is. Sad that we have allowed them to have hope again.

unreal win records at home & nationally would get them over the hump in national exposure and thus recruiting.
Now, they are currently ranked 10th (6 players) in top 300 while our beloved Tigers are @ unlucky 13th (6 players).
Our years of winning even 2-3 straight over Birds may be over..
all over a QB who struggled mightily (bless his good heart) for 2 straight years and coaches babied him too often, imho.

Everyone knows what you're saying is true, but I'm past it now. I trust Dabo to repair the damage that was done in that game by beating Carolina in both recruiting and on the field. Carolina will hang themselves... they always do.

I'm hoping we look back at that coot game the same way we now look back at the West Virginia fiasco.
Ugly and embarrassing at the time, but it convinced Dabo changes needed to be made and brought Venables onto the staff.
Hoping we see that coot game as forcing a change (Riley) that put us (back) on top.

Hmmmm...so, what youre saying is that we're cycling out? Do you actually believe that, or are you just having a bad day? You're going to base the future of the team on the performance of a couple of characters? You believe that the coach that took us from mediocrity, to the pinnacle twice, is done/ finished/ washed up? Dude, its way too early in the am for you to be trolling around. Dabo is loyal to a fault, but when he adjusts, he comes out with both barrels. We'll be more than fine.

Low state players love going to USUCK so friends & fam don't have to travel as far but we have been so dominant that we have been pulling almost all the recruits in S.C for yrs. 8 wins will be enough for them to pull some in-state players as we're seeing but other than that nothing has changed. As long as they win 7+ they will recruit decent but they will never win a championship and we will have a legitimate shot at another one this season. Go Tigers@!!!
