Kicking Game 2012

For the first time in a while, i am confident in our Place Kicker. I think the Cat Man will be one of the best since Nelson Welch before he leaves. If the spring is any indication, he is going to be almost automatic. His confidence is sky high.

My Question is, how are we looking on finding a Kickoff Man? We have not had anyone that could kick the ball into the endzone in years, and it does not help a struggling Defense when the opposing team stats their drives at the 40. Also, who is lined up to replace Zimmerman at punter?

Bradley Pinion, one of the top H.S punters last year..Also have Colquit as a walkon..Kin to the famous Colquits from Tenn..

Hopefully we get some more protection this season. I was holding my breath on kicks last year.

Kickoffs are from the 35 this year, so that should help

get it in the endzone, but touchbacks go out to the 25.

I'm more worried about our ST when the other team is kicking.

Nuk probably fair caught 90% of punts last year, some he could have taken, others our lack of blocking let the gunners get there too quickly.

Those diving forward fair catches he made on the shorter punts scare the chit outta me.

I agree with the need for better punt return blocking.
