won it's 9th ACC football championship. Wrong. Clemson won it's 23rd ACC football Championship (most of any ACC school all-time). Dabo won his 9th ACC football championship. Don't get it twisted! LOL!

They aren't saying "game" Just "championships". Only thing that changes is how we have crowned the champion. Doesn't matter if it was by Championship game (since 2004) or outright. Clemson won their 23rd ACC championship in football not 8th or 9th.

It was pretty obvious they were referencing ACC Championship Games. That's how I perceived it, anyway.
