You may have forgotten but Georgia won the SECCG because Beck went out … not like FSU last season where the back up barely won against some very questionable teams.
I don’t think Georgia wins it all anyway … with or without Beck. It’s been well known Beck is out.

Nope. The rest of the UGA team is plenty good enough to win with Stockton. Stockton is not bad. Much better runner than Beck.
Stockton is a gamer. Scrappy fighting brawler. Constant motor. The kid can win.
Looking at the bracket, the dawgs don’t really need a superstar quarterback until the championship game.

While I realize there is an automatic qualifier component to the CFP now that did not exist last year, without their starting QB, UGA is not the same team yet still got a 2 seed and a first round bye. I'm not saying they don't belong in the CFP, but without Beck, the Dawgs aren't a 2 seed IMO.

Actually, Bulb, I am at my cabin in North Georgia mountains and the people here think otherwise. My neighbor actually coached Stockton in HS and says Stockton is a better QB than Old Sloe Eyes, better arm, better runner, etc. All he lacks is experience. He said his teammates love him and will rally around him. We shall see, I guess, but he feels Stockton will be an upgrade for UGA.
