Dude was terrible. If you're offended by that oh well... You want to get back to winning championships? We just made the first move.
Well done Dabo.

No need to be that (your) way.
Have a little class and move forward.

was a Clemson man who still has a lot of promise. No matter that it is justified, there should be a bit of compassion and class from the fans.
You have shown neither.

There are a lot of good Clemson men that I know and I wouldn’t trust any of them with the keys to the offense

I mean, I'm not gonna sit around cheering and being happy someone from the Clemson family got fired. That's kinda shiddy honestly and shows you lack sympathy. Heck, I never cheered with glee when somebody I despised from my own job got fired. It's a rough thing to do and watch knowing they still tried and gave it their all. But I'm relieved we are moving forward and made the right decision for the program.

you thank him for his time, effort, the wins and move on
I have no doubt he aspired to winning championships and bringing Clemson home a another title - and no doubt he worked hard to that end
I certainly appreciate those efforts and his dedication
I hope he lands another good position and can grow as a play caller and have lots of success

Football is about performance. Except for DJ, players don't get to play if they don't perform. The same should be for coaches. It's not about the goodness of a person off the field, it's about performance. Streeter was DJ's number 1 promoter, to the detriment of the rest of the team. Look at the WR we've lost to the transfer portal. My guess is that most wouldn't have transferred had they known Riley was replacing Streeter. Ngata and E.J. were both outstanding and dynamic as freshmen. But there weren't developed. That and DJ couldn't be trusted throwing downfield and home-run plays were what both those guys were good at. Now they're gone.
To the OP, I agree. He was not ready for OC at this level. Your point is correct, he really was bad at it. I wish Streeter and his family the best in the future, I think he is a good man.
But in real, high-stakes, championship college football, if you don't perform, you don't get to play. Or coach.

Just one small point of clarification, Ngata and EJ couldn't stay on the field long enough to be developed. They were constantly sitting in non-contact jerseys at practice because of injuries.
