Why do I predict Omaha? It boils down to getting injured pitchers back. I don’t think everyone realizes how big a hit we took losing Darden and Garris! It these two are back. Well no one in the regional is scary. USC Upstate there solid yes but we’ve beaten them. Kentucky should not be there and West Virginia. There ok but can’t beat an elite Clemson team. Now LSU is where Darden and Garris coming back is huge. You could have those two guys be long relievers. With Mahlstedt closing it out. LSU looks like a close game and Clemson having a solid chance of winning. Omaha is in the cards!

I feel ya. I’d feel better if those freshman were coming back from UCL tears and Tommy John surgery. But, Dallas Baptist scares me more than LSU. They will be our obstacle.

Good thing about that would be. If Dallas Baptist wins them Clemson hosts the super regional

I will certainly take them over LSU and everyone else knows it to.

DB is always good… always and it’s no disrespect to them but no team in America would choose playing LSU rather than DB.

Jax St beat them 2 on Saturday. If Jax St can beat them twice in a day then I’ll certainly take my chances with them as well.

I like your optimism and getting Darden back is huge. He usually pitches well for one cycle through a lineup. Being another middle reliever is crucial. Just have to wonder how rusty he is being out for 1 1/2 months.
