This is the second time in two years Neff has gone on record with full support for Brad at critical moments and gotten absolutely embarrassed days after with a no show performance to cut our season short. Neff has been crushing it with hires, support, legal matters, and program launches, only to get sucker punched by the Bradster after showing his support and faith on each occasion.

Reminds me of the story about the frog and the scorpion. The gist is that the scorpion stings the frog who just helped him, and says something like “I can’t help it. It’s my nature”.

CBB blew an excellent opportunity to publicly state he was not going to Indiana.

After all the support the Clemson athletic department and ADs have shown him through difficult times, it would have built a lot of good will. Instead, Clemson fans found out from Indiana that CBB was not going to be their next coach. That’s really, really disappointing.

Neff really has no choice considering all the raises and contract extensions he has given Brad. What do you expect him to say? "I'm a real idiot for supporting Brad." Unfortunately, so long as Brownell continues to produce a slightly above average product, nothing is going to change. Neff and the administration obviously don't care if Clemson ever wins the ACCT. Which Brad will never do.

Let's face it. Brad is here for as long as he likes, Clemson basketball will continue to be mediocre, and Neff will continue to tell how great mediocre is for Clemson. If you want more out of Clemson basketball, you're going to have to lower your expectations or be constantly disappointed.
