Got friends in the industry that publicly have to say they are liberal, but privately are mostly conservative! Not saying it right, but they say that will be cancelled if they even hint that they are conservative. I would have to make a stand , but I also don’t have millions on the line.

And others. Good music is good music, regardless of politics. Heck, Merle Haggard was liberal.
Buffett held campaign events for Hillary in 2016 and was openly pro dem in the 2018 midterms in Florida. Was Covid paranoid and very climate crisis oriented. Still, I can enjoy his music, especially the early stuff.
Really lost interest in his new stuff however when he became consumed with money. Total betrayal of his early years documented in the song, "Making Music for Money"
