I agree he’s never been able to hit a breaking ball to save his life he should be closer to the bottom of the lineup

Sry for paying attention to baseball. I post regularly so it's not coming from under a rock lol, it's having an opinion. Jarrell is not a cleanup hitter, he's a 7-9 guy. Stop acting like a democrat unless you really are one

Jarrell hit 3 balls over 105 exit velocity today. 2 just happen to be right at Cowboy players. I'm not sure what you're looking for in a 4-5 hitter but those exit velocities scream clean-up. With that being said I believe you will see Cam move to #3 hitter in the lineup, Listi goes to leadoff and Piano go to 2nd within the month. Their career on-base percentage is really high, and I don't think that changes. That would probably put Gaffney, Priest, or Bissetta in the 4 spot.

Exactly. JJ hit the ball hard and was very consistent all fall and preseason. Agree with Listi in the leadoff spot, excellent SO/BB ratio. I like Cam in the 2 hole with any combo of the guys you mentioned 3-5. Could see JJ in the 5.

He’s not a cleanup hitter but he will hit a lot of bombs from the bottom of the order once it shakes out. Don’t panic
