to make our Tigers win or rally. I personally always wear a certain Orange Clemson shirt on gameday. Lat year I had a purple and orange rubber band bracelet that one of the teen girls gave me and I wore it until we lost. Matter of fact, I threw it off haha. I have been known to cut off the TV and say this game is over and some how I think it will lead us back to victory. It did once against Ohio State. I still follow on my phone and update it every 5 seconds lol
What's yours? I know people have many gameday traditions or things they do to bring luck. What's yours?

Nope, they are just plain white ankle socks. Other than the fact that they sometimes remind me of one of the biggest relationship failures of my life, I love wearing them.
It really makes me feel like part of the program.

What’s more swag than dating a girl who was able to hook up with Swag?
And really, the socks are pretty cool. There’s no way to be certain but I’m very confident that they were “team issued.” They are different from normal socks.

Good to know Chad!! I remember I sat behind him at the Spring game, before he enrolled at Clemson. I hate to say we had women entertain the recruits, but all of them there sitting had escorts.

Back in the Tommy Bowden days, I was so superstitious - had to wear a certain shirt, shorts, finish/chug a beer right before the kickoff -  What I finally realized is that i didn't have to be superstitious during the Dabo years. That's when I knew Clemson had made it to elite status. To the 2023 FB year, hoping that I don't need to wear a certain shirt, certain pair of shorts....but may finish that beer before kickoff for the heck of it.

Rncox I have the same thing happen to me. I was superstitious and would often form my opinions on whether we would lose or not based on events that day. Dabo did change that for me though>

I start moving furniture around. I begin with my footstool...perhaps it was facing the wrong way. If more is needed, I pull my chair around for a direct line of sight at the TV. If all else fails, I throw the cat out the door and lay on the floor.
(If I lay on the floor with the cat in the house, said cat will lay on me)

Whatever works.
When we played Bama for the title (TLaw game). After the 1st quick 3 and out, I walked outside to my mailbox...there's a bush next to my driveway and I saw a small branch sticking out. I broke it off and walked back in in time to see us scoring a touchdown off the interception.
Bet I broke 15 to 20 small limbs off that bush that night.
My daughter (UGA) asked why I kept walking outside. I told her because it's working.

I used to have a pair of orange boxer briefs that I wore every game the year we won the natty with Watson. The only game I didn't wear them was Pitt. I Shyatt you not.

I use various hand gestures: Fists of power when Clemson is on offense, and crab hands when they're on defense. Have to be careful with overuse of the crab hands, timing is everything, and you can't go to the well too often. Try not to draw attention to myself in the stands.
Also have to wear my ring all game day. Pace around if I'm watching at home, and have the volume on the tv off, but synced to the internet broadcast.

Football, I move between the house and the barn until one of those locations seems to be working, then I stay put unless another change is required. Baseball this year has been all watched from the barn, unless it was a mid-week game and I was still at the office. During the first part of the season I sat at the bar and things weren't great. This second half of the season I have been standing behind the couch, seems to be working. I began to doubt it against The U until that big 7th inning rally, so now I am sticking with it. Basketball, I never could find anything that worked so I just quit watching.

I actually stand during the big games and keep re arranging my feet angle until big plays start to happen the. I don’t move at all… it’s exhausting but the wins are worth it.

I forgot to add that once I get that foot angle down I hold my breath before each snap and put my hands on my knees until the play is over.
