in the schedule you say. Well now, it's a perfect time to bring back Big Thursday --minus having to go to Cooterville every year. Home and away and a state declared holiday. Go Tigers!!!

I actually like that idea. Some say do it on Thanksgiving Day...which is Thursday. Others say donut during the State Fair like they used to in the 1950s.
I say do it around Halloween. Have us in all orange and then in all black.

Ole Miss and Miss St are the only teams playing on Thanksgiving Day now. We could share the day with them. First game at Noon and next game at 4:00. Then teams switch times the following year. Works for me!

They’re scheduled to play next year. Not sure if it’s on Thanksgiving though.

I enjoy Thanksgiving too much to have that game become part of it. Would rather leave it as the season ender on the Saturday after like it's been for a while. Also it routinely falls on my birthday now and we're undefeated on that date, so there's that.
Go Tigers.

I've always thought the game should be on T-Day, if for no

other reason, the national exposure.
My Dad grew up in Roanoke, Va, and every year VMI and VPI (now VT) had their annual rivalry game on T-Day in Roanoke. My Dad's family, inluding other relatives, always attended, as it was considered a highly social affair, then had the T-Day dinner afterwards. A Great Uncle was a VT grad and alumni club leader and provided free tickets for all, and Dad related how it was a dressy affair...men in coats and ties, the ladies in dresses, heels, hats, etc.

The VPI-VMI game was a big deal. I liked them better when they were the VPI Gobblers.

That sounds awful. I'll stick with my winter flip flops, shorts and T-shirt down here.

Thanksgiving would be great the Tigers could have turkey and dirtpeckers on the same day!
