..played had more meaning. I think I read somewhere that *72* teams are bowl eligible? That pretty much makes being invited to a bowl almost meaningless. There is no true playoff system and so a NC game decided by coaches and computers falls into the same category....):

May be of no consequence to the big money aspect that college sports have become...

But seeing those Cadets and Midshipmen march onto the field gives me much more hope for the future than any fleeting bragging rights provided by spoiled athletes.

Army-Navy is the best rivalry out there. Real student athletes putting it on the line. My favorite game to watch every year. Go Navy!!!
