10-3, ACC Champs, playoff birth vs. 9-4 and some no name bowl

We played one dud game (UofL), and I would argue lost to two teams that are better than any current ACC team this year.

10-3, ACC Champs, and a playoff birth will change the narrative completely especially with revenue sharing on the horizon.

We will coach and play like it?

Well. We often play our greatest ball when we’re the underdogs and we hear the week leading up to it that we will get our butts kicked.

Do you understand how bad the strength of schedule was?

If you think that solves the current problems then I disagree.

New DC needs to happen. It’s hurting recruiting. Just like the previous OL scenario

Strength of schedule was bad and it is clear we need to make a DC change (and even some sort of change on offense, I would argue)

I think Dabo knows he needs to get to work on that but it will be put on hold now that we’re going to ACCCG

My concern is that we win the game and play consistent ball for the rest of however many games we have left and we let that justify no changes being made

Of course, he also assured us that Mickey Conn was ready to be DC and I’m still not exactly sure what he does in that role.

Missing the CFP for 4 consecutive years is a trend

The latest bowl projections have Clemson missing the CFP for the fourth consecutive season and landing in one of the 10 ACC bowl games. It made the CFP for six consecutive seasons (2015-20), but since has played in the Cheez-It Bowl (2021), Orange Bowl (2022) and Gator Bowl (2023).
