the more I think about this, the more I'm thinking that the rock vandal may have come from the Southwest, rather than the Southeast. I keep thinking about Admiral Yamamoto's "sleeping giant" quote after the Pearl Harbor attack, and considering the last 4 years success against the Tigers on the field, it does give pause. On the other hand, stupidity never thinks logically anyway, right? Well, We haven't played UGA in 10 years (they won a close one in Athens in 2002, DJ Shockley's coming out party, then hammered us 30-0 at Clemson in 2003), but we have been playing them as long as we have the #####, 1896 to 1897? I especially remember the nail-biting "wars" from the 1960's to the late 1980's, when the UGA game was the best ticket in Clemson. The two schools are so close to each other, closer than any other two football power schools in the nation (excepting the real USC and UCLA, on the rare occasions when they both have good teams), they are our biggest rivals in recruiting battles, bar none, there has always been some serious trash-talking on and off the field between fans and players, and the games are usually as physical and bloody as I've ever seen. Dunno, just seems kinda strange that this happens when the ##### have been on a run against us, and we haven't played the Dawgs in a decade......like I said, just my opinion?
