What would it take for the sheep to not defend Trump?

It’s pretty incredible that this pure $cumbag of a human being has a great chance of winning another term. So, what would it take for the deplorables who vote for this idiot to turn their backs on him?

So you are saying you vote for a scumbag because you are told that you are deplorable for liking him? You seem smart.

The phony idiots on the other side are your problem

The pomposity of your ilk is why your abhorrent lunatic fringe attack pack can’t muster a challenge. It’s the blind leading the blind and you keep running into your own reflection with every vile judgement that comes from the talking points the MSM feeds you on a daily basis. You gobble them up and puke them back out with such regularity that the stench follows you wherever you go. None of you even question your group think masters or you’re just too weak minded to acknowledge the unending repetitious drivel of your overlords. There’s not one candidate on your side that’s close to being better than Trump despite all his misgivings. How does the saying go.... since you don’t have a house as nice as your neighbor’s, you just try to burn down your neighbor’s house? It’s sad really that you continue your pathetic attempts to divide and destroy our country from within. Why don’t you just move to Russia, Russia, Russia?!

The MSM has nothing to do with it. It's right in front of your face. You're in denial. I can STILL see why someone would vote for Trump over the PC identity politics open border libs, BUT to like Trump is insanity. He is an inept POS.

Hmm, a sane viable candidate. Nominate the Burn and it forces a great number of folks to vote for Trump. Biden hs to be careful witha VP selection, pick a prog leftist loon and he is toast too.

It is sadly humorous that an election the DEMS should be able to win easily is in so much doubt.

Economy is about to get crushed over the next year. Also, the economy was relatively good before he came in. More jobs were created in Obama's last 3 years than Trump's first 3 years. GDP is slowing. It's not like Trump worked some magic.

What would it take for me to not defend Trump? Hmmm! Let me see ... I guess if he favored late-term abortion; raising taxes; making sneaking into the US not a crime, and then providing the "legals" with drivers licenses, housing subsidies, food stamps and healthcare; putting Beto in charge of confiscating my AR15's; studying, if not paying, reparations for slavery; letting non-violent offenders our of jail; supporting the Green New Deal, I would no longer defend him. What you and others like you just don't get is that it's not so much who/what Trump is, but who/what he isn't, i.e. an America-hating, deplorable-hating snob like yourself.

It would take credible evidence for me to stop defending him. So far all I’ve seen is failed attempts to remove him from office due to the fact that there’s no evidence in collusion or obstruction. I’m just shocked that the dems/libs are still believing the BS that they are portraying. Before he announced his candidacy As a Republican and curb stomped Ole crooked Hag Hillary, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE had a problem with him. Good grief you guys are in a mental loop!

77k votes is what he won by. He barely won. She choked. She was more worried about Syrian refugees than she was with Wisconsin.

A palatable alternative?
Mar 8, 2020, 5:11 PM
|
|
This can’t be this hard to figure out. Many of us who anticipate pulling the lever for Trump in November don’t like him. But we’ve all been treated to a race to the left by the Democrats, and now we are effectively down to a 79 year old socialist who just had a heart attack and a 78year old who stumbles every time he speaks.
If Trump gets re-elected and you are upset, look to the Democrat party. They are the ones that are providing the ####-show alternatives. I’ll take a horse’s backside with 3.5% unemployment and relative peace over those choices.

Exactly. I don't blame people who pull the lever for Trump. He is a product of how flawed the Dems are and what they offer. That's something I like about this board. It has taught me how Repubs think to an extent. Many Trump voters are voting against what the Dems offer and their vision. I get it. To love Trump imo is a character flaw. That said, If he wins in some ways it may be good in the long haul, because the extreme liberals need to come back towards the center. I trust Trump's vision, which is limited, more than someone like AOC. There are tons of us Dems that are moderate. Most of us are. That's why we are forced to have a senile Biden on a ticket. We don't have many options on our side.
