"All the great cultures have kids that will play for something bigger than themselves. In this day and age we have 8 out of our top 10 players return. The year before it was the same thing. We've had 3 players transferred in the last 10 years that were in our top 10 players. We haven't lived in the portal, although we do believe in the portal. But, we have kids that when they come in as freshmen, the become sophomores, juniors and now they're seniors. Our senior class this year, last year were juniors and they were held accountable by the seniors that are gone. Now that they are seniors they are fully bought into the things that we believe in."

Not the typical approach, much like Dabo at Clemson.

Continuity and team first will always trump me-first and the greener pature approach.

Not disparaging the students athletes who choose to use the system that is put in place for them to do so freely...but you can't tell me that all this jumping ship is better or more satisfying than keeping recruits together and staying in place for the college experience as it was meant to be .
