I don't like Trump, maybe that will change, but being invited and visiting the White House is worth going no matter what at the moment. Why would a player not want to go at the moment? It sounds like a great honor and experience.

It is an honor and a great experience to be invited and go. I just hope the team will ignore the politics and accept it as an honor and show the nation the kind of men we have on this team. Stand for the USA regardless of who is the President. God Bless America.

Just think what a phenomenal feeling it would be to go where only a few get to go.. you know for a fact that #10,10,10,10 is gonna be pumped to be there. I can see DW4 and Mike Williams saying "Clink me, top guys out!" as they leave.

Only national championship teams and coaches get to the visit the White House as guests of the President of the United States. I hope our coaches and players understand the honor of this invitation. Whatever our politics might be, the office of President represents freedom,liberty, and the good values of America. The picture of President Reagan with the 1981 team is a cherished memory.
