If you want to hit me it's going to be a train wreck

Love the attitude of our young players. After watching Jamie Harper I forgot what it was like to see a RB truck someone, ala James Davis. Howard reminds he of JD a bit, maybe not as fast or strong but the same kind of player. I loved watching him run and think that he'll be a very good RB gor us next year and in the future.

DJ Howard is going to be nasty...

Right now, he's our biggest back with experience under his belt. He's already a great runner, who knows how to run in and out of traffic. He's very tough to take down. He and Bellamy are going to be a nasty 1-2 punch for the next few years. In a year or 2 I can even see DJ and both Zac Brooks climbing over the 200lb mark in weight. Our RB stable is going to be a force to be reckoned with, as always.
I love his attitude! That's what we need on this team! I can't wait for the season to start! Go Tigers!

He's not as big as JD was but he is definitely faster. I remember DJ running a 4.4 coming out of high school and JD being in the 4.5-4.6 range...

Seems like all of our back recently have had Adrian Peterson Syndrome as freshman. If you remember, even Andre had a few fumbles his freshman year. His weren't as big though because he recovered all of them. It also helped that he would already be 20 yards downfield when he fumbled.

I actually think Howard is under-utilized. He runs extremely hard and is a pain to stop. He should be used in those short-yardage plays more often IMO. I prefer AE and MB when the field is longer as they have the break-away speed to score those long TD's. For the RZ though, DJH is my favorite.

it's a good idea anyway

because of Andre's durability issues. And DJ's got a few too, from what I saw in the last campaign.
So a third guy needs to be ready in the wings.

bellamy is coming along and he seems to have his head on straight now, and when he learns to secure the rock, we will be 3 deep with rb's that can produce.
