night but I’m not sure that is gonnna happen. They have supported this team on the road very well this year. Them playing for ACC championship in their first year of the league will be like them playing for a Natty. Excitement galore.

I sat in the lower deck, south stands, 35 yard line. Long time season ticket holders paying big money for these seats. About 20% of the tickets had been sold to Carolina fans around my area. The condo parking lot that I was in was about 85% full. A lot of Clemson fans skipped this game.

Tigers will be flat and certainly the underdog. I would expect another ugly loss. At this point we don't even have a RB with Mafah hurt, so we will definitely need to shelve any thoughts of running beyond Cade. We are coming off 27 missed tackles. I don't think it can get any worse but if we run the nickel defense the whole game it might. I see the SMU QB is duel threat. Game over.

The number of fans won't make any difference. It didn't Saturday in Death Valley. SMU, 30-17.

They only average a little over 30,000 for their home games. Against California this past Saturday they had 33,178 in attendance. If we can’t outdraw them in Charlotte it will be a disappointment.

Are you planning to attend? I was at the game Saturday and saw enough to last me until next year. We spent the entire year suffering through watching back ups that are not D1 players and then when the game counts they had a negative impact or played very little. The exception was Sammy Brown but after six tackles in the first quarter we found a spot for him on the sideline most of the second half and all the fourth quarter. I've seen enough of our nickel defense to last a lifetime and got really tired of seeing Mafah tip toe around and wince in pain on every carry. We had all spring and 12 games to find a viable bak up at RB but we fell woefully short. If Eziomume can't crack this 2 deep then he's another bust. It will take a Pittsburgh type miracle to beat SMU.

I have no idea what it will look like. I can say with 100% certainty, that money is not a problem at SMU. They could play the 1st half in Tokyo and the 2nd half in Oslo, those SMU folks have the greenbacks to get there.
For those that are unaware. SMU sits smack dab in the middle of the richest neighborhood in Dallas. Think, Meyers Park in Charlotte times 10. Now put an expensive University right in the middle of that. That’s SMU.
