The issues could/should have been worked out in the offseason. That's what could have been done.

“It was UGA” is something we said when Tommy Bowden was our coach and we were an 8-9 win football team. Which is likely what this team is too.

Get your point about Bowden, but why assume this team is terrible based on a game most didnt think we could win. Logic says play the season then evaluate.

It was Georgia - a team Georgia Tech ran for 200 on, and had a 1-possession game in the 4th quarter.
Brent Key is building in the trenches, got a transfer QB from Texas A&M, and hired an OC from Georgia.
They also went 7-6 last year, but they competed against Georgia in the 2nd half. We didn't.
It's not impossible to do.

Totally agree.
I rewatched the game. The first half did not look as bad as I thought. TONS of execution mistakes, but play calling was solid. And many of our players were making plays. OL blocked for running game and protected Cade. All of those execution errors can be easily corrected.
The momentum and tone of that game could have been dramatically different if a few players had not made mistakes on a few key plays.

Yes, it could have been drastically different.
And yes, key mistakes and various times.....SAME crap was said last year! There are NO repercussions for the repeated mistakes.
*Randall cannot be counted on and should be on the bench until we have a BIG lead and then get some mop up duty (if we have some at some point).
*Turner same as above.
* Why was Venables on the field to be toast? He complained MID-burnt time to the ref...

It’s just one game, we have to do better and get better by the way but this isn’t the end of the world.
We could beat UGA in the playoffs if we grow and mature!
Dabo practiced by the rules, I doubt UGA did period.

I don’t think the Tigers are as bad as some on the board think. I also don’t think Clemson can beat UGA if they play again without forcing some turnovers. I felt that way on Friday as well. UGA has the best team in the Country. They were the best team in the Country last year and Texas took their playoff spot.
