Took our youngest grandson who is a 7th grader. Now understand its a 9 hour trip for us each way and we are not as young as we used to be. Did Tiger Walk w a Dabo fist bump. Met Schieff at the Whataburger give away and got a picture. He went down on the field after for several autographs. When you get down on the field you realize just how massive most of our players are. Got pic in front of the Rock and the Clemson logo bus. We all had a wonderful time on a beautiful day.

I thought it was decent crowd. Upper deck corners weren’t full but there was some decent noise
I think if UVa had continue to give us a game it would have gotten loud. I think these noon games with the game in hand does stifle the crowd a bit

Noon games are the worst ....
With 500 4-minute TV timeouts its a bit hard to stay engaged in the game, its horrible...
It got loud when it needed to be...
The booo calls after the facemask was called against the wrong team were pretty loud...

LOL it did get loud. Our UVA friend asked why we continued to boo after the subsequent play. I told her “we like to ride the refs for several plays and on really bad calls we will carry it into different series”

DV has not been the same since about 2018. 🙁 And I still miss the pageantry of the balloons. Seems like the big games against ranked opponents are few and far between with the ACC so down.

A bit tame. Not awful but about and 8 out of 10. BTW we walked the whole campus and never saw a UVA fan . May have missed some due to similar colors though. Most of them wore navy

They don’t get out much for football. It was like that in Charlotte a few years ago for the championship game.

of the people around me were making noise on defense. Nobody immediately next to me in any direction. I heard one or two people yelling several seats over. Never heard Clemson that quiet before. Not even against Charleston Southern last year.
Obviously I yelled on defense because I am not a piece of crap.

Crowds are tame since the big electronic scoreboard was introduced. Too much piped in music and waiting to see what the book tube screen is going to show. Music drowns out the announcer and refs.

Sounds like a wonderful day.
As for the boos on the refs, I really hate we've gone down the sewer hole like the coots have. Didn't think I'd ever see it at Clemson when the cameras spanned the crowd and you saw the fans flipping the middle finger. I've now seen that several times. Not a good look.

I have no problem booing the officials after a bad call but I agree that the obscene hand gestures are a terrible look. Clemson people should show more class.

...unless they disrespect our team or traditions.
It's just low class. I don't care how someone tries to excuse it. It looks bad on Clemson, not the other team.

Back when I was able to make those trips there was none of what's being talked about now. Back when I was going, our fan base would correct fans that were getting out of line and that's the way it should still be. A good name for a fan base is hard to build but can be torn apart by just a few...
