Can we please go to North/South divisions!!!

Miami, FSU, GA Tech, Clemson, Wake, NC St, Duke
North
UNC, Va Tech, Pitt, Cuse, UL, BC, UVA
It just makes a hole lot of sense to play teams closer to your location and it creates more rivals. What do we have in common with BC and Cuse? Nothing. This could help our SOS so we won't be passed by a team with 2 loses. I don't care if the south winner wins the ACC championship every year!

The only thing i have heard is that Va Tech would be against it. B/c they say it would be like the big east again. But who cares it's 13 against one. Do it swoffie!!!

The ACC needs to suck it up and invite WV as well. They could have a great rivalry with VT and even out the conference if they chose to go to North/South divisions.

I say add USF as well. The south would be sick.
Miami
USF
FSU
Ga Tech
Clemson
NC ST
Wake
Duke
We don't need more TV markets, we need football teams in close proximity to each other to create better rivals.

I always thought the SEC would probably add USF when I heard they were considering expansion several years ago. USF is the largest college in the state of Florida by far and Florida is the 4th largest state in the union. Miami would probably oppose USF to the ACC though.
A little off topic but I think East Carolina University has the biggest football fanbase in NC. I don't think the rest of the ACC would care to add a 5th NC school to the conference though.

More importantly Duke and UNC would oppose it because no way ,no how will those two schools agree to split divisions.
And here is the clincher:Swoffie would side with both of them!

I don't think Duke and UNC would mind being in different divisions. They could still be crossover rivals.

The conference title game. Msybe swap two teams from each division every two years until you get back to where you started and do it again.
At least then you would play fresh and new teams more frequently. Plus you might get a FSU vs Clemson title game from time to time.
It would take some work, but I think it would be interesting to lay out about 15 years to see how it might play out.

That's the problem no one outside of the acc knows who is in what divison.
I think playing Miami every year would do wonders for our recruiting in south Florida.
