...because I can wear my orange with pride today. Shamecocks can talk all they want about "state championships" in college football where the stage is a "national" one all they want. We beat a high ranked, healthy Georgia team, and a team that has only lost 1 game in two years. We obviously weren't ready for the National Championship this year, but I never figured we would be with Tajh Boyd leading our team. He is a great guy and gets praise for studying the game but just makes bad decisions too often, and still almost cost the team the game. Crazy thing is that he was the leader when we won two big bowl games. Loved the aggressive defense all year. Linebacker play last night was great and so proud of total defense all year, stopping the run, getting plays when we really needed them, even when our offense couldn't capitalize. Great year overall and no one thought we would be sitting this high at the end of the year. We were suppose to lose to Georgia but win the ACC, not expected to beat our rival, and we didn't, but we did erase our Orange Bowl nightmare from 2012.
