If I were Georgia, no way I'd stop recruiting at DE for the spot he's claiming.

yeah think boyd committed to WV real early then all the big offers started to roll in. he chose Tenn and then lane said they were good. Lane later tried to get back in but he burned his bridge. Think he saw that getting a pro caliber qb was harder than he thought.

I think you are missing ohio stste and vt also. may have been more but those two I know of to add to the list. he also had willie lyles as his handler, who is the guy that got chip Kelly fired at Oregon. I say this to say never give up on a kid till he actually signs in feb. especially an instate kid. by the way this happens a lot even to us. remember the wr we just booted from the team that we flipped from nc state, (priester) who had been committed to 3 other schools including Georgia?

Boyd committed to WVU when Rich Rod was there. Once Bill Stewart took over, it wasn't the same system. Boyd them committed to UT, but Fulmer was fired and Kiffen basically pulled the scholarship.
The final decision came down to Clemson, Ohio State and Oregon, though.

The main reason TB chose CU was b/c oregon was too far away, and he didn't want to sit behind terrelle pryor @ OSU.

I don't think that is correct. I think Pruitt was gone by the time this kid committed. Pretty sure he did over the summer.
