Is there a Cornell Powell on this team?

I would love to see someone (especially a wr) have a breakout year this year. Powell really turned it on his last year and became a reliable weapon.

Hopefully, it’s Noble Johnson from what I can tell he seems like a good kid.

Yeah, but he's a freshman. I like him, too. I was talking about someone who toiled in obscurity and then came alive after several years.

Possibly. I'm just not sure what his ceiling is. I would love to see our qb have a reliable slot guy that can move the sticks and maybe more...

Even though Noble is a freshman I still think he’s going to have a breakout year.

That would be a very, very good things for this offense. Because, Williams isn't going anywhere and Turner is going to be a beast.

I feel like his freshman season is going to be like how Justin Ross was.

Noble was my neighbor at Lightsey this past year. Great kid, glad to be able to call him one of my friends

Maybe Stellato if he can ever be healthy. I am not down on the WRS like most of the people. I think if we have a steady QB and a better offensive gameplan then we can see vast improvement across the board from that group.

Yep. Nobody has any idea what we might have at WR with the crap we rolled out there the last 2 years. Throw sideways passes two times and chuck it down the sideline on 3rd down is not a way showcase WRs.

No telling what they can do once the ball is within 5 feet of them.

I think Randall still has a chance. Would love to see that big body punish some DBs.

This makes the most sense to me. He flashed often before injury.

WR unit has a lot to prove, besides 0. Unit overall

is not mentally tough and doesn’t make plays. Half can’t stay on the field( see mental toughness). Tired of excuses out of Grishams unit. Time to put up or shut up. Wasn’t all QB. Hopefully together, Cade and these guys can get it done. Got the RBs to make this work and 9 at TE should be a go to weapon as well. O-line should be better too!

Not this year IMO

And by that, I mean, I don't see an upperclassman (JR or SR) that would fit the scenario you're referencing.
If Ngata would've come back, he'd EASILY had been my pick as he and CK2 had a nice connection.
That said, I'd love to see Randall or Stellato have a healthy year to see how they contribute. It'll be nice having Beaux Collins back this year too.
Our WR corp has potential...but, yall know what they say about potential...you gotta go out there and do it.
September cannot get here soon enough!

Don't forget Charone Peake.
He was actually rated higher than all the others.

Honestly think we see alot more freshmen and sophmores/rs freshmen take over the 2 deep this year. If any of the guys that are juniors or seniors were to become a stud I'd guess Beaux Collins.
Spector just ain't P5 talent tbh, Stellato is a complete unknown, and the rest of the scholarship wrs have only been on campus for 2 years or less.
