How on Earth can we (the 15 ACC schools) not have copies of the GOR agreement in-house?
A simple Google search about whether each party should be given a copy of a contract shows that not only is it ACCEPTABLE (okay) to request a copy for your records, it is generally the LEGAL RIGHT of each party to receive a copy.
I can’t wrap my head around these *supposed* world-class academic institutions essentially signing their lives away, and returning home empty handed. I’m a peon compared to the names behind the signatures on this document, but I’ve never signed any agreement without obtaining a copy for my records — bc I ain’t stupid. Heck any auditor I’ve ever met throws a fit if you don’t have a signed copy of a $50 purchase order.
Having chaperones “closely watch” lawyers mulling over a document, forbidding any transcription and/or photocopies/photographs is beyond absurd.
What are they hiding in Charlotte??
These presidents owe their donors/alums/students some serious explanations.

Also would like to know did every school president sign the GOR, did it have to be unanimous?

From my understanding they all signed it, but apparently the real document that could blow everything up is the TV contract the ACC signed with ESPN, which may not have been approved/signed off on by all presidents

It's the ACCs contract with ESPN that's locked away at HQ.

Ah, my mistake. I thought it was the GOR.
But if it’s the contract with ESPN/Disney, my original question is actually *more* valid…
