In order to be a decoy you have to first be a threat.

That’s nothing against mafah. He is a good back. But since he has been hurt he’s averaging 2 yards a carry. That doesn’t scare any defense in the country.

you would think so but the last few weeks we haven't. I doubt they will change unless forced to w Phil being unavailable.

…I asked directly what he feels about this team competing with this Texas team.

Brandon was incredibly confident and assuring me that Clemson will do well against this Texas team.

I asked about Mafah and his shoulder. Brandon said that they have been working people all week to lighten the load on him.

I reminded him that the Texas defense will be targeting Mafah’s shoulder, and they need to really find a way to protect that shoulder when he hits the turf. Brandon implied that they are taking some precautions for Mafah.
