he has developed quickly in this one season with the Clemson staff, but still not the athlete that PJ is but maybe more skilled and better overall defender. Saw a site where these guys looked at NBA potential prospects and they said would not be surprised if got drafted mid to late 2nd round.

Tbh when he’s on the court he’s more productive. Love PJ but he didn’t rebound and defend the rim. PJ also turned the ball over more and forced 3 pointers whether he was on or off….. PJ “looks” better when he does it right? The fade aways and clean hook shots where as Lakhin looks raw in everything he does but gets the job done….. hard to choose

this season and has worked hard on his game in addition to being a great leader. Different players with different games. IMO, Nod goes to Lakhin defensively, but I think PJ is a better at creating his shot. Go Tigers!

The last 5 or 6 games he has certainly been just as good. I don't think anybody can argue that.

Look at the NBA. Not pretty but very effective. Lahkin actually looks more athletic than a lot of them, and he’s got a GREAT 3 point shot. I bet he gets snapped up in the draft. Be awesome if he ends up in Denver, with the other Clemson lads.

He's definitely been a very positive addition for us this season, and offers us a legitimate inside force, critical for any kind of post-season success. Having said that, were PJ to have stuck around for a 5th season here we're likely to be in a similar position. Happy we've had each of them.
Go Tigers!

but he is on a fantastic 6-game stretch right now. If he were to do that for an entire season this would be a serious conversation.

IDK, the kid is potentially a project at the next level, he has not reached his potential. His footwork is terrible, but man, he flashes some ability on both ends as both a shot blocker and a low post scorer. I would not be shocked so see him possibly playing in Europe with a foot in the door in the NBA, but then again what do I know.

I think he has been more consistent in the big games than PJ was. Seems to be a little smoother around the basket. PJ had a better mid range game. But Lahkin has proven he can be good from long distance. One thing I remember was that PJ was even more probe to fouls teouble than Lahkin has been this year.

I don't think he is better than Hall, yet. I do think he is more important to our team though. Fouled out against GT and SC and a rough night against Lou. All losses. I think that speaks to how much we need him.

After the first few games I would have said no, but now I’m not so sure. Although unorthodox at times, Lakhim gets the job done at both ends of the court and has gotten better at staying out of foul trouble. PJ looked smoother on offense but foul trouble was always his undoing. Lastly, PJ had weak hands. He seemed to get the ball swiped from his grip at least a few times a game.

Different kind of players honestly. I enjoyed watching Hall and he was beast under the basket, but I felt like we tried to help out his draft stock by letting him force some 3s we shouldn’t have had him take. Still, he was a great player, even better Tiger and that team was fun to watch make a March Madness run.
