Is DJ the most mentally fragile QB we have ever had???

The coaches never fail to go out of their to not hold him accountable in any of their public comments. We know things get in his head easy and make him even worse. Has there ever been a QB for Clemson that has required more coddling?

You apparently didnt see Streeter play. He may not have been the best QB we have had, but he was the toughest. He played fearless and through numerous injuries that would keep others sitting.

This is 100% correct, I think people forget about the fact that Tajh looked like a Heisman Trophy candidate for 3 quarters and then would play a quarter where he looked like he had never played football before. DJs got a little bit of that

I blame Streeter for not developing DJ at the position. DJ has the talent, but definitely the coaching is messing with his abilities.

After he makes 1 mistake, he goes of the rails. Problem is he never finds the rails again!!
I wonder if his parents were off the rails perfectionist that has cost him mental issues for fast recovery? Wonder if his parents tailed him for producing production? Hope not but DJ has mental blocks!

Will Proctor may have been mentally fragile, but he was married to Ainsley Earhardt on Fox and Friends for a while. She’s smokin’ hot so that gives him a pass for me.

I wish him well, but that kid has to get gone after this season. We’ve wasted 2 years with “thoughts and prayers” for his beloved potential. Its not just arm talent, its not just ability to run, its not just understanding the playbook, its not just reading and adjusting to defenses, its a little of all of it with a huge portion of “ability to lead” and he takes so much coddling, so much mental effort, so much time for all all the coaches that he drags the whole team into a hole that we have to fight out of every single week. Either quit like he has been trying to do for months or go somewhere that doesn’t have competition, but don’t hang around here and keep “getting better every week”
