Is Clemson recruiting a shooting guard for next year?

We are losing Harrison and have Devoe, Rooks, Ajukwa and Roper coming back, each of them shooting 28% from the field for the year. A shooter with more defensive ability like Coach Brownell likes?

Yes Sir I believe so but getting a real good one to come to Clemson is the rub.

We should look in the JUCO ranks

We need "instant gratification" ... raw out of High School is tough ....
Lastly, the others on the squad ... "off" this year, who knows? Maybe they will come on strong this year, next year ...

We should scour the playgrounds of the Bronx. There is a player there than can get into Clemson and will come if offered.
forget the kid from Crossroad, Alabama and Shacktown. Georgia.

I think that is what the Tigers will do. You can see that #15 will progress into a top notch player under BB. Good point.

We have one spot available for spring..

I think we need help at wing more rather than a bigman. One of the top prospects that we have offered is 6-6 wing Kipper Nichols from Clevland area in OH. I saw him at the Beach Ball Classic a couple of weeks ago and he is a baller. Played real well against PJ Dozier. He has us in final 4 and wants to make an offical visit before be decides in spring. Hope we are going hard after him.

We can't even get the up the court against a press when Hall isn't in the game.

We need a good PG that can drive and dish/create his own shot.

Already got two PGs coming next season...

Avery Holmes, a transfer from San Francisco sitting out and 4 star Ty Hudson from Georgia who signed in early period. Both will help at PG.

Yep, I was wrong, Nnoko is only a junior. Glad I was wrong.

If Hudson shoes he can run PG, Holmes could play a lot

at 2G. He's a great shooter. I still haven't given up on Rooks, Devoe or Ajukwa. Roper is due to break out this year and he'll play at both guard spots next as he has for 3 years. Could be better but it's not awful. Holmes shooting will be a huge lift next season
