Got my message this morning that it was my time to select new seats if I wanted to relocate. I clicked on the provided link and it went to "Page Not Found Error 404" (or something like that. So I clicked on Home and I think it took me to where I needed to be. Long story short ........ have been sitting in lower deck 20 plus years in same seats giving more to IPTAY than required for those seats. It appeared on my computer screen that the only seats available in the entire stadium were upper deck seats. What a complete joke. What am I missing?

"Upgrade your donation level to Riggs and IPTAY will roll out the red carpet for you. Otherwise. Take what you can get" ....... Nope .... tried that and got the same seats that I always had. One year I got credit for a $50,000 "in kind" donation (25k to IPTAY and 25K to another fund) and then I sent a larger cash donation that same year and got the same tickets and worse parking. I called IPTAY to mildly complain about the parking and was told to "give more money". I said "I already tried that". After thatI just started giving the exact donation required for my seats. Some time later I raised my donation above the level.

Honestly I don't know why they bother to go through this exercise as I have not heard of one person getting their seats changed ..... although I guess it happens.

Call them before you give, tell that it's contingent on better parking. They

My father-in-law had a similar experience this year. IPTAY Rep. (higher up than who you initially speak to on the phone) indicated that if he gave at the Fike Level that he would be able to move his seats up about 30 Rows. He has lower deck seats, but would like to be closer to the portal due to Heart Issues. When he told me what he was doing, I told him I think IPTAY had fibbed to him... But he assured me had talked to one of the guys in charge. Heck, I even called, and it seemed postive from the info I was given.

Anyway, Dad made the donation, Time Slot came last week, and the only thing they could do for him, after they saw nothing was available, was to offer him 4 seats on Row F. He had seats on row A and D. So basically, more than doubling his donation, with little improvement.

So needless to say we will be looking to find folks that are selling season tickets that align with what he is trying to find. He is just frustrated that he cant seem to purchase directly what he would like to have. I also think he is contesting the IPTAY charges at this point. I am curious if after the Ticket madness dies down if they come back and offer him something a little better to try and keep a hold of the money. But, like a earlier poster said, if they dont have anything to give, it is what it is.

Funny thing thought about buying season tickets, If you try to resale tickets (just trying to break even) if you cant go to all of the games. Its tough to break even. Last year I took a bath on some of the games I could not go to. So even though we have this high renewal demand, it does not seem to translate to the secondary market. At least that has been my experience. Its like we are all bidding against ourselves.
