Looks like $200 for me. I bumped up this year from Champion to Tiger to try to keep my parking. I am dropping back next year to seat equity. They can issue my parking wherever they want because I am getting off of the hamster wheel. PS. When is Clemson going to really do something for IPTAY members to show appreciation? Why do we not get special player access at the spring game or something?

I’ve been in IPTAY 55 years. I’ve asked in person, via phone and via email at least six occasions to get to see the inside of the Football Operations Center with the only response being “we will be in touch”. Never happens. I get a tank you card and a phone call from a minor Olympic sport participant that wants to end the call as soon as I answer. I guess the moat is the best view I’ll ever get.

33 years for me and the last several years I have not even received a response to several voice mail messages and multiple emails regarding questions.
Linda is the only person over there anymore that I can ever speak with and she is always so pleasant and positive.

Why do IPTAY members need to beg to see the football facility? I would like to see it myself. If there is a limit to the number of people that can see it, start at the top with the oldest members or something.

Was able to see the OPS center in early June. It was one of the campus tours as part of the annual alumni reunion for the class of 1975. Wasn't able to see it in 2023 for my class. Reunion activities this year lasted a full day Thurs 6/5 and half day on 6/6. It was two full days in 2023. When they opened registration for the tours, I tried to book the OPS Center a couple hours later. The Website, Eventbrite, indicated it was fully booked. I sent an complaint email to the Alumni Assoc and an un-named individual responded that a couple spots were open and would add me. However on the day of the tour, I had not been added to the list. Showed a copy of the email and one of the Alumni reps said I had to be on the tour.
There were ten members of the 75 class on the list. Unfortunately for them, their special class event ran over and three on the wait list boarded the bus. Don't understand why the Alumni Assoc couldn't have scheduled two tours as obviously it was the most popular. It didn't interfere with anything else scheduled for the building and didn't include the indoor practice facility. Also was able to see the LaX and gymnastics facilities. The young lady who performed the difficult Simone Biles beam exercise was practicing some routine floor moves and did a basic one on the beam.

I am not sure what all IPTAY funds cover, but I know those fees are rising at a rate which is pricing some out of IPTAY. In my opinion if players are going to earn money from NIL and revenue sharing then their tuition should be deducted from their earnings. I am for eliminating scholarships for all athletes especially those earning 6 or 7 figure incomes.
There should also be penalties for athletes who receive NIL and revenue sharing $$$$$$$ but leave that school before that income is covered. They should have to pay back any unearned monies before they can enter another school or collect any more NIL or revenue sharing income until all prior debts are settled with their former school.
These enabled athletes need to realize that without students, fans, Alumni donations and IPTAY members donations are what support much of the school’s athletic programs.
Eventually the student body, the fan base and fund raising organizations for schools are going to develop such negative attitudes towards athletics that the money is going to dry up.
As a student I would feel athletes are over compensated enabled unappreciated people, while I am working and taking out loans to pay for my education.
Eventually the bobble is going to bust then there will be chaos ! The question is how much more greed and demands by athletes will people put up with before the system implodes??

That $1,500 is a lot but it’s 12.5% increase, not close to the 42% referenced in the earlier post.

I feel bad for all of you people that have been paying IPTAY decades who have been given the shaft because of these greedy athletes.
I remember the big strike in MLB back in the early 70’s. The implosion clock started ticking then. I read where a former Atlanta Braves player from the 80’s was still receiving checks even though he had not played since the 80’s.
Once MLB unionized it was only a matter of time before the NFL and NBA jumped on board.
I remember in the late 60’s meeting George Blanca, Miami Dolphins players Norm Evans and Maxi Moore. Because when football season ended they worked for the company where my Dad worked. My dad’s company would have a banquet for employees kids. They invited professional athletes that worked for the company in the off season because they did not make the big bucks back then. I remember when Johnny Bench, Pete Rose and others made less than $200,000 a season.
Things have really changed. IMO not for the better. I was surprised when I heard Clemson approved alcohol sales inside the stadium. Alcohol sales might backfire during games when the coots come to town.

Those sports unionized back in the 50s. This isn't a recent change.
Alcohol sales in the stadium is also not a new or progressive change. There are only 2 schools left that don't sell beer in the stadium - BYU and Utah.

I know a coot fan in a similar situation.
They finally responded by sending him a season's worth of coupons for doo-doo ice.
