Iptay Donation Levels
Jan 17, 2016, 4:46 PM
|
|
After this season I'm sure that iptay donations will be at an all time high.
Any ideas on what it'll run to try to make the jump to lower level?
No more Dippin Dots but that's the kind of sacrifices that have to be made.

I'd hate to even guess. I hope to be at a place in life (financially and geographically) to be able to do season tickets one of these days. For now, thanks to all the IPTAY donors... Your contributions go a long way towards making our Tigers great!

You can join IPTAY at many levels. Start at a level you can afford and build on it as you become better established. Believe it or not I began at a ten dollar level fifty years ago. It's great to be a Clemson fan and it's even better to be a Clemson supporter

Dippin Dots is what has been holding me back. All of the horror stories of no Dippin Dots "down there" .
Without that obstacle , how much money do I need to raise to get down with you guys?

They serve a different Dippin dot in lower deck vs the upper deck. Larger portions and unlimited toppings.

Last year 3,500 would get you in the lower bowl. Perhaps lower but that would almost guarantee you lower bowl tickets. Some buy extra tickets (up to their allocation) and then sell them for a small premium to help defray the IPTAY cost. You could also go in with a friend or two, although only one of you will build IPTAY credit.

$3200 not $3500. That level may get you in lower bowl depending on how many seats become available and how many current donors request additional tickets.

Thanks for the number. I would assume that number will only go up so I'll aim higher.
As for the Dippin Dots, toppings?!?!!?!!?!! Can't wait.

Not sure money is the answer

If I recall correctly there were fewer than 300 seats that came open in the lower deck last year. There are lots of long-time IPTAY donors trying to change seats. Because they fill the request for the seats (both new and seat changes) based on priority points it may well not be possible for a new donor to get a ticket in the lower deck no matter how big the donation is (ok, it is always possible if the money it big enough but that is much bigger than $3k). Perhaps tickets in the west endzone may be available but that is probably it.

Not a new donor. Just been an upper Decker and think it's time to make the move.

Keep in mind that open seats are filled by donor giving level first and only after that by priority points within that giving level. Or in other words if I give $1600 per year and have 200 priority points and you give $3200 and have 100 priority points you would have an opportunity for seat relocation before I would. Someone giving more money that you would have that opportunity before you would.

Visited the Iptay office at the stadium a month ago , the nice lady at the office implied 5,000 would be a guarantee for lower....
If you do the math, buy your tickets in the lower bowl off of stub hub, etc. for great lowers, if that donation level is too high...

Yea $4600 Jervey may do it or $6000 McFadden would very likely in my opinion.

So if you get 2 lowers and the remainder upper deck who would get the lowers? Better discuss ahead.
