Wasn't that the consensus among the TigerNet coaches? Excluding those that wanted to bench Watson of course.

Our starters did not play all 4 quarters against Troy

I was driving to Richmond for an interview during the game so I didn't get to watch but listened to the whole game on Sirius XM, which continuously updated me with the players on the field. We had second string guys in like Maverick Morris early in the game and playing often and even freshman like Anchrum and Pollard playing much of the second half even though the game was far from being decided. It wasn't just on Oline either, it was all positions. I was getting worried listening on radio that we were playing too many second and third stringers with game far from being decided.

Troy may be better as well, no one knows yet

So far we know they beat Austin Peay 57-17 and played us to 6 points but don't know what Troy will do the rest of the year. We are obviously not playing to our potential but Troy may turn out to be a pretty decent team.

The Oline was significantly better in the App State game.

In the second half

The first half our Oline didn't look very good, we were only up by a field goal our so deep into second quarter if I recall. Our oline looked a lot better in second half though. Maybe we miss Eric McClain more than expected.

I just watched all the first quarter snaps, and it is a lot better than the Troy game. For Troy, guards were regularly whiffing down lineman, and tackles could not keep up with the edge rush.
