7.5 more carries per game. 4.9 YPC for them and 4.2 for us. Our numbers are skewed by Tajh taking more sacks and running the ball more, in general. They did have more rushing TD's.
Still wouldn't have guessed that we had more yards per game. We both lit up Auburn on the ground.

so you basically have to quadruple their yards to convert them to any other conference's yards

Well we did go up against ACC defensive who have 8 of 12 team last year finish out side Top 45 in total offense allowed, Just saying not good. We rushed more pure Game but 9 Yards aint a big difference when they had freshman as running backs and we had a 5th Year senior.

ground pounding attacks. they tend to tell you what they are going to do, and it's up to you to stop'em! no wonder their defenses post better #'s.

Many SEC teams run exactly what Ford ran in the 80's. They pass only when they have to pass. They run the ball to control the clock. That keeps their D's off the field and subjected to a lot fewer plays per minute/quarter/game/week/year.
LSU tried that same crap for three quarters but it caught up to them in the fourth. We stopped them eight times with 3 & outs. We also stopped them on a 4th and two. They felt they had to throw the ball to finish off the clock in the fourth quarter cause nothing else was working. They'd been able to pass when they had to all year because they played in the SEC and everybody's defense plays the odds keys in on the run.

ranked 46th or worse. Georgia played 6 teams with a defensive ranking of 46th or worse too, and the average for all of the defenses they faced last year was .....43.And Georgia played 5 SEC teams with a defense ranked 46th or worse....
The average for the defenses Clemson played was 56, so it was a little weaker but not a huge difference.
LOL. The average rushing defense for the teams CLemson played was also 56...The average for Georgia.....50. So, whoop de dooo.

You take off the 9 extra yards against the teams we play and they will probably average 49th. Just saying! Go tigers.

Sure, the cellar dwellers and 3 D2 teams. "SEC?" Sure. The only SEC team your guys beat worth a crapola was UF who furnished rump to UL and turned conference pride into conference hide in their bowl game.
