IMO one major piece of the offense that we are currently missing is an Adam Humphries

Or Hunter Renfrow. Those two players seemed to be able to ignite the offense. I believe Will Taylor could be that guy but he is out for the season.
Fans put yourself in DJ’s shoes. He is following in the footsteps of the best QB in the history of Clemson football. That’s tremendous pressure on any QB trying to fill those shoes. Booing and calling DJ and other players out will only hurt their confidence. We saw what he could do last year. But last year he knew TL was coming back. Plus we lost ETN and a couple horses at the WR position that made Elite plays. The passing game is something that need to improve with WR’s tuning better routes and catching passes. We need better blocking from the OLine and More accurate passing. All of which I believe will come. Fans need to have patience and support this team every game. 15 to 20 years ago Clemson would have lost the BC this past Saturday. They may have even lost to Ga Tech. But we won those games. We are still Elite with some work to do. But we have to believe in this year’s team.
I believe this team needs a Hunter Renfrow. I believe that has been missing since Renfrow was drafted a couple of years ago. Hunter helped to give the offense an identity and could ignite the offense.
I am asking fans not to give up on this team which lost several big time playmakers due to graduation or the draft. A TL is not easy to replace. This year’s team has lost a lot of talent due to injuries. IMO this team is a season away from being Elite top 4 CFP worthy once again.
For those of you who played organized sports you should know that boos and calling out individual player’s for criticism only hurts the teams confidence.
Fans you are either “ All In “ or your not. You can’t ride the fence. I am “ All In “ with the coaches and the players!
Best to the Tiger Family. I hope and pray that everyone stays safe.
Go Tigers!

I think I have to disagree. Other teams lose great players, impact players but the elite teams retool, and come together. No one player makes a team. A Trevor Lawrence comes along only once. Same with Hunter, and Adam .New players come, some who will step up, take their place and either make a name for themselves or find meaningful employment outside the NFL. As far as criticizing the team, or the coaching staff, you have the right to do that, especially after 5 weeks of seeing the same old offense that does not stack up to a Renfro offense and seeing a coaching staff that does not seem to have any answers ,offer "lip-service" and excuses ,but won't make a change at quarterback, even for one quarter.

So, DJ following in BIG footprints and can feel the pressure...but it is ok to expect the receivers to follow in Humphries or Renfroe's footprints - without pressure? ok. If I remember correctly they made catches when the ball was just in their [zip code]. DJ is not putting the ball in the zip code from what i see of him. Sure, there hae been some drops on the nascar passing lane throws and maybe one or two others. Mostly though, no where near catchable.

I respect you opinion and your post but the WR’s are not as aggressive as those in the past like Mike Williams, Tee Higgins, Hunter Renfrow, Amari Rogers. I believe it’s about 50 / 50 WR’s and DJ not getting the ball down the field. But I have faith that they will improve more each week.
Below are random opinions in no certain order. It’s just what is in my heart as a lifelong Clemson fan.
Have faith in Dabo, the other coaches and Staff. And the only Team I know that reloads every year is Bama. It’s a lot easier for Saban because of the history of the program. Clemson has shown they can compete and even beat bama as well as LSU, Auburn, OSU all schools with more success in their history. Beams has been set up for years to retool while Clemson’s staff has to work much harder to stay at the same level. IMO the little shrimp Saban gets more credit than he deserves.
When you live with a target on your back eventually someone is going to hit that target. It seems almost ever opponent has the Clemson game circled for the next 12 months.
In my opinion I do not believe Saban could have accomplished what Dabo, Tony Elliot, Bradon Streeter and BV and his coaches have accomplished at Clemson.
Many fans seem to forget where we were before Dabo became the HC and where we have been since he became the HC. The best way I think to show how much we appreciate the success Dabo and his staff have brought to Clemson is by standing by him and the team now. Do Not let your support wavier.
I think we have to realize that we don’t have the horses we had when we won the NC in 2016 and 2018. But I believe we have them committed and some who need more experience to regain our top 4 Elite status.
I am grateful for Clemson’s accomplishments during Dabo’s tenure. Some schools never reach that level of success. Instead of embracing it with confidence that we can do it again many fans are willing to give up on a great coaching staff and a talented QB in DJ along with a talented but inexperienced stable of other really good player’s.
The landscape of the ACC has changed with NC, BC, Pitt, Ga Tech, VT, NC State, and even Wake Forest have improved this year. There are much improved teams in other conferences as well.
IMO NlL and the transfer portal have changed college football. It allowed LSU to become a one year wonder. And a few QB’s have been successful with the 2nd or 3rd team. I agree with Dabo. I believe you betray the players you recruited by going through the TP. I think it takes courage and conviction to remain true to your players. The TP looks like the free agency market in pro sports.
A friend once told me to remember the struggles you went through to achieve success and appreciate where you are in life or you will end up right back where you started. I am behind Dabo, Tony Elliot and all of the other offensive coaches.

Deshaun Was the GOAT! The offensive staff has done a poor job this year of putting the pieces together.Clemsons schemes were never great. They had great players that made it work. Time to hit the refresh button on this O
