I had to look it up but this is the list of players from IMG that made it to the NFL - Andre Cisco (Jaguars), Grant Delpit (Browns), Robert Hainsey (Bucs), KJ Hamler (Broncos), Tony Jones (Saints), Joshua Kaindoh (Chiefs), Tyler Mabry (Seahawks), Tre’ McKitty (Chargers), Kellen Mond (Vikings), Greg Newsome (Browns), K.J. Osborn (Vikings) and Cesar Ruiz (Saints).
I watch the NFL a fair amount and the only name on the list that even rings a bell with me is Kellen Mond.

That's not the full list. They had 24 former players on NFL rosters in 2023-24 alone.
Grant Delpit was 2x all-American and 2x 1st-team SEC at LSU, won the Jim Thorpe Award in 2019, and was a 2nd-round draft pick. He's a starter for the Browns, and he signed a $36m contract extension last December.
Greg Newsome was all-American and 1st-team all-B1G at Northwestern, and was a 1st-round draft pick. He's also a starter for the Browns.
Another former IMG player you might have heard of is Nolan Smith, who played at Georgia and was drafted in the 1st round by the Eagles in 2023.

I think I remember that he was from there. But I'm not sure we've had much luck there otherwise, and I think it's only going to get harder to recruit from there under the current landscape. I'm pretty sure we don't have a very active relationship with that place now?

Maybe they should fire their coach and use the transfer portal more. Wait, that's every pundits advice for Clemson. They are all scared to death that Dabo will succeed the old fashioned way.

looking at that list of NFL players from IMG someone posted, i think cisco from syracuse, delpit from LSU and Mond from Boise are the only well known players while in college. Man that place is super overhyped when you consider it only exist to leech off the good players all over and supposedly "improve" them.
compare the impact NFL players from IMG to daniel high school they haven't even produced as many all pro's as daniel. I've always thought from the beginning IMG and places like it are a bit of a scam in the sense, the selling point is that your practicing against "the best" in practice then you go out and perform.....but the reality is the kids there are all 17 and its really like a ritz carlton environment that may be making them weak and entitled, throw in NIL and its even worse.
I think its better for these kids to stay away from IMG type places, wherever you are from Ohio, South Carolina etc, you have rivalries in your own state there is a back history, there are teams you hate, now your in Florida just playing against a random team you know nothing about and wont ever see again, its kind of a black atmosphere.

The whole; we will prepare you for college model is kind of crazy to me.
From what I can tell, the players who go there are already "well-known" recruits. So, that's not it for getting your name out there.
We'll make you bigger, faster and stronger - is that it? There maybe some; but from what I can tell; when I was looking at IMG - there is not evidence that supports this. Caveat: "a kid would have gotten bigger, faster and stronger" at their H.S. too. What I mean is, where is the evidence that they had gains that exceeded what they would have gotten at their home H.S.?
The one thing I used to say that might be good about IMG were: *If a kid is playing out of position; they could go there and train in the position they will play in college. I get that; especially for small town kids who might have to play well out of position.
*They take a N/A or 2-star or a 3-star and develop them into a 4-star and above. That would be good - but that is not what they do.
Lastly, I really hate the idea of them playing any school who does not have the same ability to assemble talent like them! I would do like those coaches up in Baltimore with regard to St. Francis Academy and "refuse to play them"!
Forget IMG.
