I know it's FSU and they have excellent talent and athletes all over but their core is simply broken and hollow at this point. Since it's an Away game we will also have our travel roster only, so the talent level will remain higher from start to finish - no walk-ons to play the last quarter or so.

This game could get ugly, then even uglier from there. Dabo may have to call the dogs off simply to keep FSU on the field for a full game.

The one thing I keep coming back to is the spread. These Vegas guys are no dummies and while they don't get everything right all the time, the numbers generally do come in within shouting distance of their spreads, which is how they make their money. They don't get emotional about games; they simply use good analytics.

Overwhelmingly, it seems folks are expecting a blowout and I hope they are right. But I can't help but feel we may be in for a better fight than expected, and winning by a couple of TDs seems more likely to me than by 4 or 5 TDs.

Each of those scenarios will largely be based on the level of quit the FSU locker room has in it. Perhaps Glenn running first team practices this week is giving them a change of pace and a different style of leadership, and maybe a different attitude that could manifest itself into a more competitive effort overall?
