Well…. The first half looked a bit unprepared. The tigers didn’t look good last year. And while we are currently undefeated. We have not played as well as the scoreboards have indicated. The team and coaches earned the criticism they are getting for this first half of football. Let’s hope they make some major adjustments

My momma always told me you see the true character of a person by the way they respond to adversity. It’s easy to be strong when everything is going your way. The crowd needs to get loud and stay loud. Let our Tigers know we are with them! I am not going to give up on our Tigers and if they don’t win this game I will still be proud to be a Tiger.

I get it, adversity brings out character. This is a message board, nothing more. Some like to complain about how badly the team looks, ya know, reality some call it.
Don’t get pissy at others when it’s 100% Clemson football that has you upset. First half was bad, or did you enjoy that 30 minute beating. I don’t think you did, and while a post about poor play might upset you it’s nothing more than an outlet. We don’t play, we are clueless to what’s happening out there. However it’s obvious this team wasn’t totally prepared for Syracuse abilities.
Syracuse has beaten nobody of concern. Top 60 Purdue was last second throw to get a W.
In Death Valley, for 30 minutes, they played much better than Clemson. Weak minded, message board, I think you are dramatic about nothingness. It’s free to speak your mind, watching Clemson play poorly is difficult to watch, but we will all be just fine ?

dkmoore19 ... I'm always surprised at posters subscribing to "we are clueless to what is happening out there." For all who have played five-plus years, it's real simple to see and understand what's happening out there today and every Saturday.
Majoring in P.E. and watching 80 hrs of football video a week is not aero propulsion or thermal dynamics. Tigers will pull it together and eke this win out. And then the players will dance like they've beaten a playoff contender.

I agree. When we have a defense full of future first round picks we should be thrilled at their performance today. Similarly, our offense has been world class and DJ has been great. I'm so impressed at our performance thus far and anyone who says differently is a weak minded inbred piece of white trash. I TOTALLY agree with the OP. I'm sure the coaches are singing the praises of the players in the locker room at this very moment. Suck it losers!

Here's the problem, it's not adversity that people are upset with. It's that crappy play calling and QB play are the reason for the adversity, which is unnecessary. Streeter didn't call a good game simple because we won. We won DESPITE Streeter calling a crappy first half and Goodwin refusing to blitz.
We don't throw the ball over the middle at all hardly, and when we do, it's usually open. Even the INT today was open, just overthrown.
This isn't an all or nothing type of deal. You can win and there still be valid criticisms. I'm tired of tigernet pretending that everything's perfectly fine and DJ is a Heisman QB that may leave early simply because we haven't faced a team that's as talented as ours is. You shouldnt have to face Ohio State, Bama, Tenn, Georgia to be able to see deficiencies in your team. Thats just a lack of football IQ.
