CFP. Why dies our offense shut down in the second half? I thought SMU OC did a better job than Riley. Wes either does not have the dudes especially in the secondary or is not doing a good job. We don’t challenge the opposing team in our secondary. It seems let them catch in front of you. We did not cover the back out of backfield well at all. We may to go in a different direction from Wes as DC. He needs to go back in the booth with a better motivator on the sidelines.

Don’t know how we do it but we have to figure out a way to run the football. Those huge dry spells in second halves are killing us. Not sure why Wes can’t adjust, but watching us allow that game after game is difficult.

Wes doesn't have the depth on defense we traditionally have.

I think his strategy was for the DBs to keep the ball in front of them. Don't give up the big play. For the most part they didn't. Once up by 17, I think the thought was we could score enough to win. Losing Haynes hurt.

Truth is, we are pretty one dimensional right now. Need to get everyone who can play healthy to have a shot in 2 weeks. Mafah won't get there 100%. Haynes appears to be gone. Adams is not a difference maker. Hopefully Ezzy can step up.

Our talent level falls off after our first string at most positions drastically. We have no depth. One db we have is just not physically imposing and knew SMU was going to figure out and start picking on him. Don’t like a lot of play calling like everyone else. Mafah running side line to side line are you kidding me. My pet turtle could catch him. Cade still gets a little antsy wish he would wait a little longer on QB runs
For pocket to break down instead of taking off and running right into the pile. He did throw one out of bounds after being chased out of pocket at last minute instead of taking loss. Good for him, finally figured out. We have to let some running back play and take a chance. Otherwise never wear a defense down
