Im curious what yall think after Wakes loss to ND

Seeing how ND hasn’t really played all that good this season, it was an away game for Wake but they should have won that game. Not complaining, it’s just we play at ND next, what does Clemson have to overcome to win that contest in South Bend Saturday?

and they crapped the bed.
What Clemson must do to beat ND is minimize the turnovers, play inside out meaning play inside and let the bigs control the action. We need to dominate the boards and play aggressively.
I have noticed that our Tigers play lackluster at times, they become passive. When they play with their foot to the pedal and aggressively, good things happen.
Play smart and Clemson wins.

The same as every game, shoot and rebound well, control the tempo and dont make stupid turnovers. We have a chance for a double bye now.

Wake had the beating Duke hangover. I really think the timing of this was perfect for us just in case some our guys were sleeping on ND. I also like the way we have played overall on the road. Minimize the turnovers w/our guard play and we should be good. And no 6 to 8 minute scoring droughts.

It’s weird how that happens but it definitely does much like everybody else in this thread good field goal, percentage, and good rebounding. We should be able to take that game.

Disclaimer: I was flipping between ND/Wake, FSU/NC State, browsing tnet, and had consumed bourbon.
However, the Wake loss was due to the Irish playing inspired, shooting well, and their freshman had a ‘career’ (?!) game.
If we play to our potential, we can win all three games. We can also go deep in both the ACCT and the NCAAT. But sports is a fickle lover and will sometimes betray you….
BTW: the FSU team that gave us a run beat the NC State team we ‘should’ have beat. If the Tiger team that lost to NC State, UVA, Duke, Ga Tech, Va Tech, UNCheat and Miami shows up again, it will be baseball, softball, golf and tennis season(s) again….

Man, I was so disappointed in that loss to NC State. I was really hoping the Tigers could pull that one out. Think we had a bad shooting night if I recall.

Wake is a team which is considerably better at home than on the road. All 7 of their conference losses have been on the road, none at home.
On the contrary, we seem to play a little better on the road. Still... that 4th spot in the tournament seems like it will come down to our last game at Wake.

While it's true they are playing better as of late (winning four of their last five as your pointed-out), a Quad 3 loss to an 11-17 Notre Dame team would be considered a bad loss so we really can't have any let downs on Saturday.

They were 2-10 at one point and now are 6-11 in conference. Won over VT and GT at home, Louisville on road, dropped close one at Syracuse and then beat Wake at home.
A game we should win…but they are playing pretty well right now…nothing will be easy.

Wake is an abysmal road team. They're 3-10 away from home and only 1-10 in Q1/Q2 games away from home.

They are just 11-17 overall and 6-11 in the conference, but they’ve won 4 of their last 5 games.
They play really good defense.
We are better, and should win, but road conference game + hot team = tough task ahead.
