The hype on this guy was incredible and it has continued despite his struggles of late. Seems as if the media is incapable of reversing course.
Honestly I though Watson deserved it last year with the 2000/1000 record and 14-1 record. Still can't see how anybody could argue his value to our 11-1 team. If it goes to Jackson this year the award will lose quite a bit of credibility.

Think a lot of voters probably turned their ballots in early, just assuming it was Jackson, and they won't take this weekend into consideration

Actually, I was listening to ESPN college sports today and both of the hosts agreed that if Watson could have a performance in the ACC championship like he did against USuC, he would get their vote for Heisman. They said that Jackson folded the last few weeks and it should be about players on championship caliber teams who help them win championships. Watson isn't out of it at all.
