Debates have become so difficult to watch when there are more than 2 or 3 on stage.

All of them. It was embarrassing and nearly impossible to watch. I was most surprised bu Tim Scott. I have had a lot of respect for him but he acted as poorly as the others.

Just childish games. But the child is 400’ tall and dangerous, but still a child.
Y’all let me know when you swear them in before a debate, then maybe it would be useful to an adult!

This country is going left and it's because of Trump If it's his fault or not is debatable But republicans steady losing winnable elections because of Trump backed candidates and the anti Trump independent voters
If Trump would of just endorsed another candidate instead of being hellbent on being the president again republicans would of seen our red wave in 22 and have a shot at the white house in 24
As it stands we had no red wave and Biden incompetent self will be reelected

So you consider 22 wins and 19 losses "No red wave?" Somebody listens to CNN, MSNBC, etc. The Country is NOT going left, as more and more have been leaving the Democrat party, Dallas Mayor Johnson is one of the latest examples. I don't care if I'm right or you are, the fact is that this country has been invaded and there was a Coup d'é·tat on November 3rd, 2020. They overthrew a duly elected President and overtook the entire US Government. It's not just Democrats or the left who accomplished this, it is a mix of domestic and foreign interests. If you haven't awoken to that fact yet and are still watching the Red/Blue comedy show, I suggest you do a little more investigating. What you will find will horrify you, but never fear, the ######## won't last much longer.

I agree with you 100%. The Trump administration was moving in the right direction on about 95% of the policies and programs that were passed, it was a job well done. However...the Republican party was once the party of dignity, honesty, reason, steadiness and common sense. That is no more the truth. The 10% of the left and the 10% of the right are just complete fanatics. This country needs to find common ground. We need a leader who can recognize and respect the divisions that exist and be committed to closing the divide. It is not too late if the right candidate would step forward. Unfortunately 2024 will leave all voters only one choice. Do you vote country or party? For me, it appears for the first time since I started voting, I will be writing in a candidate. Such a sad state of affairs. There are better candidates out there but leadership in both parties couldn't care less, it is win at all costs.

I don’t know if Biden will be re-elected next year but I agree that Trump has caused more divisiveness than I’ve ever seen before in this country. Trump is one of those me me me people who wants all the attention. He needs to step aside and endorse another YOUNGER Republican candidate but it isn’t happening because again he has to have all the attention. If he really has the best interests of this country in mind he will move over and let the younger generation take over.

I'm an independent. I look around the landscape of this country and I don't see anyone that is running for office or even posturing to run that I say "Now THAT is a future leader." Not one single person. It's frustrating.

I'm 52 and can't recall many candidates that made me think they were a future leader. More often than not, they are following the science of politics-using polls to develop talking points to resonate with voters.

I haven't watched the debate yet. Going in, my expectations are that Christie would have a stronger performance, that Haley would attack Vivek some more, and that DeSantis would attack Trump more.
Too many voices on stage makes these debates almost useless. Can't really go over detailed policies in 45 seconds. It's all basically about who has better vibes, which is why Trump is so successful in them.
I'm looking forward to DeSantis's debate with Gavin Newsom though. That one could be really good.

but I watched about 2 minutes and all that jargon is exactly that...words!!
I would like to think they are meaningful, but once the earmarks start they never end and the country will continue to suffer because of the almighty dollar buying yet another politician. It is the way of democracy now, all bought and paid for by highest bidder.

Desantis and Haley as VP our best chance to win the general election. Yes, trump can win the Republican nomination but he can never ever win the general election. It’s all about winning the General Election. Unfortunately Lyndon Johnson made sure the Democrats have as a block the minorities always. This is hard to overcome these days and unless we have a R Reagan type that can appeal to a broad base the the Republicans will never win another Presidential election. If a Dud like Biden that is destroying America before our very eyes can win then what you gonna do?

I think Trump wins the general election vs Biden. I think DeSantis would have a worse chance. Haley as president would beat Biden the easiest.
