Here all you N.C. State whiners and moaners. Chew on this

"Oh no, NCSt, they're going to ruin our season."
"They always jump up and bite us"
"I remember Danny's team having fits with them"
"This game has me so worried..... I've had to change my pad twice as much this week"
Listen you whiny azzes. Since 2000 we are 12-3 against them. Let me repeat that. 12-3. With losses coming in 2002, 2003, and 2011. If you want to break it down more than that.
They've beaten us once since 2004. What year is again?
We are a far superior program, we have far superior coaching, and we're light years better than we were in 2011. Ya know, a lot of people forget we maybe kind of sorta packed it in in that game, because we had wrapped up the Atlantic. Think that had ANYTHING to do with it? I do.
Stop worrying about Saturday. This is another Miami. This game will not be close. We will curb stomp them, and honestly hope 'ol Dave what's his name don't lose his job on Sunday.
52-10 Tigers.

I agree. Not only do we cover this spread, we cover it quickly. As Walt Deptula said so eloquently about what he expects from us against FSU, "Clemson will pulverize" NCSU. He was referring to the whipping we will put on FSU, but it will be even worse this week for NCSU. This team is on a mission, and the wolfies are no match for us!

First off, dont put any stock in what Walt says. Im not convinced he isnt short a few cards out of a 52 deck of cards.
Second off, I see more of a BC type game. Opposition not withstanding, NCState has a decent team. Louisville beat them 20-13, a good result for them. I can see more of a 38-10 type game. I mean lets get real, Clemson out talents them in all facets of the game, but dont underestimate the crowd and playing at home for the woolfies. Talent most certainly overcomes this advantage, but dont look for 42-0 at halftime.

If you think NCSU is more talented than Miami. And I can

promise you you never thought before last Saturday's game that at halftime the score would be 42-0 either did you?
What if I told you Artavis Scott would only have 10 yds, and Deon Cain wouldn't play, then what would you have said it would have been.
And I'm sorry, but NCSU doesn't have half the defense BC has. They also played that Louisville game in a monsoon, remember. Ever think if it kept us from blowing out ND, it could have kept them in that game??
Just my 2 cents.

This is the beauty of college football. All the above comments are spot on. We should beat them convincingly, but we all know you play the games for a reason. Anything could happen, and as we climb the polls and accumulate wins, the fear of a fall gets greater. I expect a win, the stakes are just getting higher.

Old Walt is pretty smart, and he has this one nailed down perfectly, IMO. Plus, he is very entertaining. Do I take all his comments at face value? No, but he has a pretty good record, and this time he is right. This game shouldn't be very close at all, unless we let up, and I doubt we do.

I've always wondered why so many Tiger fans think Raleigh

is tough for us.
We have a winning record in that stadium. We won there in 2013, 2009, 2007, 2005, & 2001. They won in '03 (17-15, when they had Phillip Rivers) and 2011 as we all remember.
Also, that 2011 team had just clinched the Atlantic, and Price at LT, Sammy Watkins, and Martavis Bryant were all out with injury.
honestly looking at it, NCst is prolly only a little better than App St this year. They both could win the Sun Belt.

Yes and in 03, 04 they had likely the best qb in the country. We have dominated them since. It's much easier to get upset when your team is all offense. When you're a defensive team you can play conservatively if you need to to slow the game down (as we've done). Clemson's offense is clicking as well now and there's no reason we shouldn't wipe the field with these jokers.
