Jeff Hafley or Jim Leonhard… who would you pick & why?

I think either would be great! Hafley did a lot more with less but Jim Leonhard had some stout D as Wisconsin as well

Hafley is no slouch but neither trump a $10 million NIL donation and a flexible, proactive NIL methodology with little regard for the guidelines... "willfully ignorant" should be the understood SOP-

Hafley, other than as head coach at Bc where he was terrible, has all of one year running a defense at the college level and he was co-dc for that one year. He would be way down my list.

That 1 year at OSU they finished #4 in scoring D..

the previous year they were #58."Regarded as a Defensive genius"(FootballScoop); as a recruiter cited for "his ability to find diamonds in the rough, athletes who can transfer that ability to the football field"RelativeAthleticScore..but whatever probably already got BB,Pearman, or someone out of left field..the quality control guy at Southeastern Tech locked up as the new DC

I think he would be the better DC, as he has more college coordinator experience, which I value most.

I also think there is something else he could bring that would be super valuable...

His Connections to the midwest from a recruiting perspective. And this would be valuable b/c the midwest is where you find some of the best Big Uglies (Off Lineman).
