September 17, 1988 - I'd tell myself to jump the fence and run over to coach Ford to call a time out with 1:34 left in the game to reset the punting alignment because I have a hunch that FSU is going to fake their punt.

Coach Bowden knew that if FSU punted, they’d lose that game, they wouldn’t get the ball back from Clemsons offense. That’s why he chose to roll the dice and it worked. Wife and I were there shouting Fake, Fake! Fan next to us said, “ he ain’t gonna fake a punt that deep in our territory.” I remember his words.😂

Strictly from a Clemson football standpoint.... Enjoy every moment of the Ford years, soak them up because a long dry spell is coming. Believe in this Dabo fellow( because I was not happy with his hiring), and enjoy the ride! Thankful it's not over! Above all, soak in every second in the Valley with my parents. Oh to spend one more glorious fall Saturday afternoon with them in Clemson SC!

Just go ahead and move on from basketball already. It ain't happening. No matter how much you believe and want it to amount to something amazing - it's just not in our cards. Spend that time at the gym or out shooting hoops yourself.
