and beat a 1 loss FSU team, then I think it would be tough to keep us out of the playoff. We would have wins against ND, Cuse, Miami, UNC, SCar and FSU again.
I just don't see any team going undefeated. Think you'll end up with 3 or 4 1 loss teams and then Clemson being the best 2 loss team in the country with an ACC Championship to boot.
Should be interesting. Just need Duke and Louisville to lose a couple since we don't play them.

I still think there is a path for us in three way tie between us, UNC, and Duke or a 4 way between us, UNC, Miami, and Duke

I assume this is accurate. Saves me looking at tie-breaker rules. Seems possible as well. At least something to look for. Would be happy with another ACC Championship and beating both Carolinas for how this year started. Would also mean our team would be clicking heading into next year.

This is from the NFL, but still largely applies. Teams favored -6 are 60-30-1 straight up since 2015. We are -7 so you should give us about a 70% chance of winning.

With how the season has played out so far, there is a very likely chance a 2 loss team gets in this year; however, I’m not sure it will be us. This is the year it could happen though with the schedule we have. We play every single ranked ACC team this year plus ND.

There’s never been a 2-loss team in CFP so it would be hard to imagine a scenario. I guess if there weren’t 4 undefeated or 1-loss from the P5.
Anyway, we have to have quite a lot go our way just to get a shot at ACC.

The only problem with you thesis is that when all of the teams that we might beat going forward they will have to have other loses for us to get to the acc championship game. At that point those teams are not highly rated and the acc would be left out of the playoffs.
