is that it runs off all the fun, jokey posters during the dead period. It is like a bunch of hopeless dudes clinging to a life raft, with one guy holding a bullhorn and reminding them how far they have to paddle to get back to shore, 200 miles to land, 199 miles to land.... yawn....

I know what you mean. But, the dead period does kinda slow down the lunatic fringe. Kinda. Here’s an example. I’ve asked for prayer maybe thrice since 2011. Once when my pancreas tried to kill me, once with my Fathers cancer, and recently when I lost my best friend. Some yahoo is calling me out for it and TMailing me how it’s all a fraud for pulse points. If I want pulse points I can buy them. It’s really simple. I’m not a violent person but if I coulda seen this person face to face, I’d have went to jail. I was emotionally distraught trying to understand why someone so young had to leave us and hoping for a miracle through prayer. As soon as his prognosis turned to zero survival, this person starts this BS.
A good portion of TNet seems like genuinely great people. There’s a handful that seem they are so miserable they want to bring the rest to their level. I’m here for people like you. Your comedy has me rolling. You’re one of the members that makes wading through the garbage worth while. Salty55® is another. I love the Dad joke. MyfavOrange® is another, giving us all a peek into one another’s kitchens. Jedi Kermit® because we get the mound watch and Jedi stick together. Spud®just cause he loves giving fish sore mouth. Even OJ and his Hill watch. I can’t name everyone that makes this place great. But there’s a tip of the cap to some who do!
