Nah Clemson can woodshed these dudes but it will take playing aggressive football on both sides of the ball. They simply put are not a physical team. Remind me of the Tajh Boyd era teams at Clemson, all glitz and flash no mean streak.

Yes, both myself and the entire nation has been watching them. They are currently ranked 6th in the nation. Now did they get some help - yes. Will we beat them - yes. Woodshed - no no no. They are not App State.

Miami plays football as in years past...offense and defense by schizophrenia..those things don't hold together well against good teams...if we play our best game and they play theirs it should be no contest! We have seen this Miami team before...however they can approve!

Miami plays football as in years past...offense and defense by schizophrenia..those things don't hold together well against good teams...if we play our best game and they play theirs it should be no contest! We have seen this Miami team before...however they can improve!

You make it very good Point that we will have to bring better than our C game in order to beat Miami. Our defense is good enough to win a game agains a high tier opponent. But our offense, and in particular the conservative play calls would not beat a top 10 team

Miami has yet to play a defense with a pulse.
Clemson’s problem is their offense looks Trevor Lawrence years good at home and then on the road it looks like the last of the Tommy Bowden can barely win 6-7 games years.

But don't many on tnet think that every ABC team Clemson plays is a weak, powderpuff that's nowhere close to XYZ teams that will take us to the woodshed if we bring the same gameplan we used to beat ABC by 2/3+ TD's ?
Clemson can beat all the ABC teams and that proves nothing to them.
Same as it ever was.

You do understand that yards don’t win games? Points win games.
Just look at our Orange Bowl loss to UT. We moved it up and down the field between the 20s but couldn’t score.
Eerily similar to last night except we were able to score two TDs and FSUs offense was inept even with our soft cushion D (thanks Wes).

FSU still has a lot of talent on their defensive side of the ball.
We left 20 points at the least we should have had by playing very conservative in the red zone.
This was a blow out statistics wise, and the scoreboard should reflect it.
This will make us stronger once they break down the video and coach everyone including looking at our tooo conservative play calls.

This was a blowout statistics-wise and that's what really matters to a growing team. Winning by 16 is victory enough.
The ONLY complaint one might have was red-zone offense, but we really only needed field goals to keep the game out of reach, the way we were eating up clock.
One last thing: FSU's season is in shambles, but the have found a QB and a leader. If they rally around him like the did last night they can become a very solid football team before the season is over.
